Good Games

Privacy

Good Games has no accounts, no sign-up and no server that stores anything about you. The puzzles are files; the page that plays them runs in your browser.

What stays in your browser

Your progress through a day — which level you reached, the letters you typed, how long each level took — is written to your browser's local storage, along with the language and the light-or-dark setting you chose. None of it is sent anywhere, and there is nowhere for it to be sent: no leaderboard, no account, no copy held by us. Clearing site data in your browser deletes all of it.

Advertising

The site carries advertising from Google AdSense, which is what pays for it. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads and to measure them, and may use what they already know about your visits to this and other sites to choose which ads you see.

Google's use of advertising cookies is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can turn off personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings, and opt out of third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you are asked before any of this happens, through Google's own consent notice. What you choose there is remembered by your browser, and you can change it at any time from the cookie settings link at the foot of the game.

Hosting

The site and the puzzle files are served by Cloudflare, which logs requests — including IP addresses — as any web server does, to deliver the page and to defend it against abuse. Visits are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookie and stores no identifier: it records the page, the link a reader arrived by and the country, and nothing that would follow anyone from one site to another.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and asks for nothing that would identify anyone, whatever their age.
